Who controls the information

UFO/UAP Disclosure is an independent project operated by Paul Marziali. Privacy enquiries and deletion requests may be submitted through the contact page or sent to marziali1977@hotmail.com.

Information we collect

Newsletter and regional alerts

Email address, optional name, selected region, topic and keyword, consent version, confirmation token, subscription status and timestamps. Registrations remain pending until confirmed by email.

Device-saved searches

Search filters saved in the global archive stay in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to our database unless you separately create an email alert.

Contact messages

Name, email address, selected subject, message and submission timestamp.

Sighting reports

Contact details, privacy preferences, event details, observation narrative, optional coordinates, checks performed, publication permission and submitted evidence files. Original files are hashed so later copies can be compared with the received evidence.

Technical information

The hosting provider may process request, device, security and usage information needed to operate, secure and measure the site. We do not add advertising trackers.

How information is used

• Deliver requested disclosure updates and regional alerts
• Answer enquiries
• Review, compare and investigate submitted observations
• Maintain evidence provenance and moderation history
• Publish only material covered by the reporter's permission, normally in anonymised form
• Protect the site and community from abuse

Storage and retention

Newsletter and alert data is kept until unsubscribe or deletion. Pending registrations may be removed when no confirmation is received. Contact messages and reports are retained only while reasonably needed for correspondence, investigation, provenance, legal obligations or defence of legitimate claims. Raw evidence is not publicly accessible and is restricted to authorised moderation.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or withdrawal of email consent. The unsubscribe form removes an address from newsletters and alerts. Some evidence records may need to retain a minimal audit entry so that published conclusions are not detached from their provenance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the hosting platform and the configured transactional-email provider, and disclosed when legally required. Public case summaries follow the publication consent selected by the reporter.

Children and sensitive information

This reporting system is not directed at children. Do not submit classified information, medical records, financial data, passwords, private third-party addresses or material you do not have authority to share.
